ICO Telegram is quite capable to draw attention of investors from other crypto-currency projects, leaving without funding start-ups that did not manage to gain credibility. Of course, this is not too good news for the market as a whole.
However, the launch of a new blockchain by a major player is certainly a serious step forward for the community. Judging by the seeping information, Durov’s project will be focused on the creation of smart contracts, which means it will compete with Ethereum project, Chinese NEO, and open up new opportunities and prospects for the establishment of the crypto-currency economy.
The expected deadline for the launch of the TON blockchain is March 2018.
