Boeing's third quarter profit increased by 25 %

The net profit of the American company - Boeing Co (NBA), one of the world's largest manufacturers of aerospace and defense technology, in the third quarter of 2015 increased by 25%, to $ 1.7 billion, or $ 2.47 per share, compared to $ 1.36 billion, or $ 1.86 per share reached in the same period a year earlier, according to a company press release.

The company profit excluding one-off items during the quarter amounted to $ 2.52 per share.

The revenue increased by 9%, to $ 25.8 billion.

Analysts surveyed by Bloomberg, on average, had forecasted an adjusted profit of Boeing at $ 2.2 per share on revenue of $ 24.7 billion.

Free Cash Flow of Boeing in July-September amounted to $ 2.3 billion, exceeding the consensus market forecast of $ 1.8 billion.

The company increased deliveries of commercial aircrafts in the third quarter by 8.1%, to 199 units, including a record 37 aircraft of Dreamliner brand.

The Boeing unfulfilled orders at the end of the third quarter included about 5.7 thousand airplanes valued at $ 485 billion.

"Three quarters of strong performance and confidence in our operations allow us to improve predictions of revenue, earnings per share and operating cash flow for the year" - said the CEO of Boeing, Dennis Muilenburg.

The company improved its profit forecast, excluding one-off items in 2015 to $ 7.95-8.15 per share from the previously expected $ 7.7-7.9 per share.

The forecast of annual revenue is improved by Boeing to $ 95-97 billion from $ 94.5-96.5 billion, and the operating cash flow to $ 9.5 billion, with "more than $ 9 billion."

Experts interviewed by Bloomberg, on average forecasted a Boeing profit in this year at $ 8.05 per share, and the revenue at $ 95.4 billion.
