The leaders of falling were shares of Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT), the price of which fell by 0.43 (0.87%), to 48.30, the shares of Boeing Company (NYSE:BA), which rose 1.08 (0.73%) to 146.88, and the American Express Company (NYSE:AXP) fell in price by 0.53 (0, 66%) and finished trading at around 80.22.
The leaders of growth among the components of the S&P 500 at the end of today's trading were the shares of PEPCO Holdings Inc (NYSE:POM), which rose 8.83% to reach 27.00, Bed Bath & Beyond Inc (NASDAQ:BBBY), which got 5.31%, to close at 73.35, and shares of Macy`s Inc (NYSE:M), which rose 5.24%, ending the session at around 66.53.
Leaders of falling were shares of Keurig Green Mountain Inc (NASDAQ:GMCR), which fell in price by 8.55%, closing at 94.26, shares of Symantec Corporation (NASDAQ:SYMC) lost 5.48% and ended the session at 24.48, and quotes for Navient Cor (NASDAQ:NAVI) fell in price by 3.38% to reach 19.16.
