The German Stock Market finished Tuesday trading in different directions due to consolidation of the financial services, media and consumer products sectors and amid negative dynamics on the part of the pharmaceutical and software industry sectors.
At the close of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, DAX 30 fell 0.34%, MDAX index rose 0.14%, TecDAX index fell 0.45%.
The leaders of growth among the DAX 30 index components were the shares of Deutsche Bank AG (DE: DBKGn), which rose by 0.365 p. (2.27%), closing at 16.440. The quotes of Commerzbank AG (DE: CBKG) increased by 0.132 p. (1.62%), ending trading at 8.301. Shares of Volkswagen AG Vz (DE: VOWG_p) rose 1.950 p (1.58%) to close at 125.050.
Leaders of falling were shares of ThyssenKrupp AG (DE: TKAG), the price of which has fallen by 0.510 p. (2.45%), ending the session at around 20.320. Shares of Linde AG (DE: LING) rose 2.450 p. (1.84%) to 130.550, and Fresenius SE Vz (DE: FREG) shares decreased in price by 0.820 p. (1.25%) to 64.890.
The leaders of growth among the MDAX index components were the shares of Steinhoff International Holdings NV (DE: SNHG), which rose 1.91% to reach 5.35, LEG Immobilien AG (DE: LEGn), which scored 1.76 %, to close at 81.350 and Lanxess shares (DE: LXSG), which rose 1.51%, ending the session at around 45.830.
Leaders of falling were the shares of Kuka (DE: KU2G), which fell in price by 4.87%, closing at 88.300. Shares of Gerresheimer AG (DE: GXId) lost 1.95% and finished the session at the level of 66.920. The quotes of Stroeer SE (DE: SAXG) decreased in price by 1.66% to reach 44.300.
The leaders of growth among the TecDAX index components were the shares of Aixtron SE (DE: AIXGn), which rose 9.54% to reach 4.500, Slm Solution G (DE: AM3D), which gained 4.02% to close at the level of 25.90, and shares of Siltronic AG (DE: WAFGn), which rose by 2.64%, ending the session at around 17.500.
Leaders of falling were the shares of Suess Microtec AG (DE: SMHNn), which fell in price by 5.31%, closing at 8.925. Shares of Adva (DE: ADAG) lost 3.82% and finished the session at 9.296. The quotes of Sartorius AG Vz (DE: SATG_p) decreased in price by 3.19% to reach 226.000.
On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, the number of advancing securities (451) exceeded the number closed in the red (422), while quotations of 35 shares remained virtually unchanged.
Meanwhile, EUR/USD pair rose 0.36% to 1.1308, and EUR/GBP fell 0.48%, reaching 0.7743.
USD index fell 0.35% to 94.41.
