The German stock market finished Friday session in different directions due to the strengthening of technology, media, and basic resources sectors, and negative dynamics on the part of the food & beverage, transport & logistics, and telecommunications sectors.
At the close on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, DAX 30 fell 0.11%, MDAX index gained 0.08%, and TecDAX index gained 0.31%.
The growth leaders among the components of DAX 30 index were the shares of Deutsche Boerse AG (DE: DB1Gn), which rose 1.130 points (1.26%), closing at around 90.630. Quotations of BAYER AG (DE: BAYGN) increased by 1.30 points (1.21%), to 109.00. Shares of RWE AG (DE: RWEG) rose in price by 0.245 p. (1.18%), to close at 21.040.
The worst performers were the shares of Deutsche Post AG (DE: DPWGn), which fell in price by 0.30% (0.87%), finishing the session at 34.730. Shares of Linde AG (DE: LING) fell 1.35 points (0.81%), closing at 164.85, while Siemens AG Class N (DE: SIEGn) fell in price by 0.80 points (0.72%) and finished trading at the level of 110.85.
The best performers of MDAX were the shares of STADA Arzneimittel AG (DE: STAGn), which rose 3.56% to 83.200, Leoni AG (DE: LEOGn), which gained 3.51%, to 54,620, and Steinhoff International Holdings NV (DE: SNHG), which rose by 3.13%, to 3.92.
The negative leaders were shares of Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG (DE: PBBG), which fell in price by 1.25%, to 11.84, shares of Suedzucker AG (DE: SZUG), which lost 1.05% to 17.985, and Innogy SE (DE: IGY), which fell in price by 1.04% to 37.015.
The leaders of growth among the components of the TecDAX index were shares of Adva Optical Networking SE (DE: ADAG), which rose 3.23%, Nordex SE (DE: NDXG), which gained 2.46%, and the shares of Evotec AG (DE: EVTG), which increased by 2.36%.
The worst performers were the shares of Slm Solution G (DE: AM3D), which fell in price by 2.11%, Carl Zeiss Medi (DE: AFXG), which lost 1.30%, and CompuGroup Medical AG (DE: COPMa), which fell in price by 0.93%.
On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, the number of falling shares (441) exceeded the number of those that closed in positive territory (325), while quotations of 25 stocks remained virtually unchanged.
