German Stock Market finished Wednesday trading lower amid negative dynamics from the technology, utilities and insurance sectors.
At the close of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, DAX 30 fell 1.67%, MDAX index fell 1.42%, and TecDAX index fell 1.61%.
The leaders of growth among DAX index were the shares of Adidas AG (DE: ADSGN), which rose by 2.450 p (1.95%), closing at 128.000. The quotes of Deutsche Borse AG (DE: DB1Gn) increased by 0.430 p. (0.61%), ending trading at 70.430. Shares of BMW AG (DE: BMWG) rose 0.110 p. (0.17%) to 65.100.
Leaders of falling were the shares of Deutsche Bank AG (DE: DBKGn), the price of which has fallen by 0.680 p. (5.56%), ending the session at around 11.540. Shares of Infineon Technologies AG (DE: IFXGn) fell 0.630 p. (4.98%) to close at 12.010, and Deutsche Lufthansa AG (DE: LHAG) decreased in price by 0.465 p. (4.28%) to 10.395.
The leaders of growth among the MDAX index were the shares of STADA Arzneimittel AG (DE: STAGn), which rose 0.98% to reach 45.965, Hochtief AG (DE: HOTG), which gained 0.93% to close at the level of 114.350, as well as shares of GEA Group AG (DE: G1AG), which rose by 0.51%, ending the session at around 42.175.
Leaders of falling were shares of Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG (DE: PBBG), which fell in price by 6.29%, closing at 7.95. Shares of CTS Eventim AG (DE: EVDG) lost 4.54% and finished the session at the level of 26.190. Quotes of Hella KGaA Hueck & Co (DE: HLE) decreased in price by 3.31%, to reach 27.73.
The leaders of growth among the TecDAX index were the shares of Siltronic AG (DE: WAFGn), which rose 2.58% to reach 14.295, CompuGroup Medical AG (DE: COPMa), which gained 1.35% to close at the level of 35.950, as well as shares of SMA Solar Technology AG (DE: S92G), which rose 0.92%, ending the session at around 43.730.
Leaders of falling were shares of Dialog Semiconductor (DE: DLGS), which fell in price by 4.99%, closing at 24.570. The shares of Adva Optical Networking SE (DE: ADAG) lost 4.01% and finished the session at 7.066. The quotes of Nordex SE (DE: NDXG) decreased in price by 3.67% to reach 24.025.
On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange the number of cheaper securities (700) exceeded the number closed in positive territory (199), and the quotes of 14 shares remained virtually unchanged.
Quotes shares Deutsche Bank AG (DE: DBKGn) fell to a historic low, down 5.56%, and shares of BMW AG (DE: BMWG) fell to 3-year low, falling to 0.17%.
The volatility index - Volatility DAX, which is based on options trading indicators on DAX 30, rose 6.60% to reach 25.53.
Meanwhile, EUR/USD was up 0.11% to 1.1088, and EUR/GBP rose 0.78%, reaching 0.8570.
The USD index dropped by 0.06% to 96.21.
