The German Stock Market finished Thursday trading lower because of the negative dynamics on the part of utilities, basic resources and transport and logistics sectors.
At the close of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, DAX 30 fell 0.81%, MDAX index fell 0.47%, and TecDAX index fell 0.07%.
The leaders of growth among the DAX 30 index were the shares of Deutsche Lufthansa AG (DE: LHAG), the price of which rose 0.140 p (1.00%), closing at 14.205. The quotes of Lanxess (DE: LXSG) increased by 0.300 p (0.72%), ending trading at 42.240. The shares of Fresenius SE Vz (DE: FREG) rose 0.260 p. (0.41%), closing at 64.210.
The worst performers were the shares of E.ON AG (DE: EONGn), the price of which has fallen by 0.233 p. (2.69%), ending the session at around 8.438. Shares of Deutsche Post AG (DE: DPWGn) rose 0.575 p. (2.30%) to close at 24.420, and Linde AG (DE: LING) shares decreased in price by 2.850 p. (2.18%) to 128.050.
The leaders of growth among the MDAX index components were the shares of TUI AG (DE: TUIGn), which rose 4.98% to reach 13.715, Talanx (DE: TLXGn), which gained 1.97%, to 30.010, as well as shares of NORMA Group AG (DE: NOEJ), which rose 1.24%, ending the session at around 49.230.
The leader of falling were shares of Gerry Weber International AG (DE: GWIG), which fell in price by 6.52%, closing at 12.330. Shares of Kabel Deutschland Holding AG (DE: KD8Gn) lost 3.43% and finished the session at 98.500. Quotes of Aurubis AG (DE: NAFG) decreased in price by 2.61% to reach 43.730.
The leaders of growth among the TecDAX index were the shares of Aixtron SE (DE: AIXGn), which rose 8.91% to reach 4.253, Kontron (DE: KBCG), which gained 3.08% to close at 3.175 and shares of Morphosys (DE: MORG), which rose 1.70%, ending the session at around 42.405.
Leaders of falling were shares of Cancom AG (DE: COKG), which fell in price by 4.24%, closing at 43.855. Shares of LPKF Laser & Electronics AG (DE: LPKG) lost 3.70% and finished the session at 6.645. Quotes of Drillisch (DE: DRIG) decreased in price by 2.63% to reach 36.045.
On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange the number of cheapened securities (495) exceeded the number closed in positive territory (334), and the quotes of 28 shares remained virtually unchanged.
Volatility index DAX volatility rose 2.36% to reach 20.82.
Meanwhile, EUR/USD pair rose 0.47% to 1.1391, and EUR/GBP rose 0.41%, reaching 0.7917.
USD index dropped 0.31% to 94.50.
