The German stock market closed Monday trading with growth due to consolidation of utilities, basic resources and telecommunications sectors.
At the close of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, DAX 30 rose 1.98%, MDAX index rose 1.67%, and TecDAX index rose 0.82%.
The leaders of growth among DAX 30 index components were the shares of RWE AG (DE: RWEG), which rose 0.580 p. (5.63%), closing at 10.875. The quotes of E.ON AG (DE: EONGn) increased by 0.450 p. (5.30%), ending trading at 8.941. Shares of ThyssenKrupp AG (DE: TKAG) rose 0.715 p. (4.82%), closing at 15.555.
The worst performers were shares of Deutsche Lufthansa AG (DE: LHAG), the price of which has fallen by 0.065 p. (0.48%), ending the session at around 13.540. Stocks of adidas AG (DE: ADSGN) rose 0.100 p. (0.10%) to close at 99.240 and Beiersdorf AG (DE: BEIG) rose 0.700 p (0.88%) to 80.100.
The leaders of growth among MDAX index components were the shares of Aurubis AG (DE: NAFG), which rose 4.49% to reach 42.740, Salzgitter (DE: SZGG), which gained 4.36%, to close at 22.255, as well as shares of Aareal Bank (DE: ARLG), which rose 3.62%, ending the session at around 25.305.
Leaders of falling were shares of Leoni AG (DE: LEOGn), which fell in price by 6.62%, closing at 26.935. Shares of Kion Group AG (DE: KGX) lost 1.58% and finished the session at 45.55 and quotes of Metro AG (DE: MEOG) decreased in price by 1.11% to reach 23.535.
The leaders of growth among TecDAX index components were the shares Draegerwerk AG & Co (DE: DRWG_p), which rose 6.03% to reach 61.530, Adva (DE: ADAG), which gained 3.66% to close at the level of 8.799, as well as shares of Aixtron SE (DE: AIXGn), which rose 3.64%, ending the session at around 3.470.
Leaders of falling were shares of Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG (DE: PV), which fell in price by 5.59%, closing at 82.140. Shares of Freenet AG (DE: FNTGn) lost 1.97% to 27.190. Quotes of Nemetschek AG (DE: NEKG) decreased in price by 0.97% to reach 39.630.
On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange the number of advancing securities (639) exceeded the number closed lower (126), and the quotes of 21 shares remained virtually unchanged.
Volatility DAX index, which is based on options trading indicators on the DAX 30, fell 4.87% to reach 25.61.
Meanwhile EUR/USD fell 1.01% to 1.1019, and EUR/GBP rose 0.78%, reaching 0.7787.
USD Index rose 0.85% to 97.44.
