Brazil's stock market closed Thursday trading with growth due to finance, real estate and commodities sectors. At the time of closing on the Stock Exchange of São Paulo, Bovespa rose 1.43%.

The leaders of growth among the components of the Bovespa index were the shares of Petroleo Brasileiro SA Petrobras (SA: PETR4), which rose 0.42 p. (7.97%) to 5.69 and the worst performer was ALL America Latina Logistica SA (SA: RUMO3), the price of which fell 0.72 p. (21.62%), ending the session at around 2.61.

On the Stock Exchange of Sao Paolo, the number of cheaper securities (180) exceeded the number closed up (137), and quotes 9 shares remained virtually unchanged.

Volatility Index – CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility, which is based on indicators of options trading on Bovespa, fell 2.12% to 45.34.

Meanwhile, USD/BRL fell 0.38% to 4.0008 and EUR/BRL fell 0.57%, reaching 4.3431.

Mexico's stock market closed trading on Thursday up due to strengthening of raw materials, telecommunications and health care sectors. At the time of closing of Mexican Stock Exchange, IPC rose 0.80%.

The leaders of growth among the components of IPC index were the shares Gentera SAB de CV (MX: GENTERA), which rose to 1.390 p. (4.72%) to 30.820, while the worst results came from the shares of Grupo Carso A1 (MX: GCARSOA1), the price of which fell 1.500 p. (2.17%), to 67.610.

On the Stock Exchange of Mexico, advancing securities (82) exceeded the number closed in red (74), and quotes of 5 shares remained virtually unchanged.

Meanwhile, USD/MXN fell 0.37% to 17.8810 and EUR/MXN fell 0.56%, reaching 19.4134.

Colombia's stock market closed Thursday trading up on strengthening of finance, COL Investment and public services sectors. At the time of closure on the Colombian Stock Exchange, COLCAP rose 1.91%.

The leaders of growth among the components of COLCAP were the shares Pfgrupoarg (CN: ARG_p), which rose 540.0 p. (3.73%) and closed at around 15000.0. Shares of Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN: PRU), fell 815.0 p. (28.50%), ending the session at around 2045.0, which is the worst result.

On the Colombian Stock Exchange, advancing securities (26) exceeded the number closed in red (4), and quotes of 2 shares remained virtually unchanged.

Meanwhile, USD/COP fell 0.95% to 3257.55 and BRL/COP fell 0.57%, reaching 814.22.

Peru's stock market closed trading on Thursday with growth due to the banking and financial services, food and beverages, and telecommunications sectors. At the time of closing on the Stock Exchange of Lima, S&P Lima General rose 0.13%.

The leaders of growth were the shares of Trevali Mining (LM: TV), which rose to 0.018 p. (7.44%) to 0.260, and worst performer was Milpo (LM: MIL), the price of which fell 0.260 p. (16.67%), to 1.300.

On the Stock Exchange of Lima, cheaper securities (14) exceeded the number closed up (6), and quotes of 9 shares remained virtually unchanged.

Meanwhile, USD/PEN rose 0.20% to 3.4319 and EUR/PEN rose 1.19%, reaching 3.7492.
