On Monday, the euro is stable near two-month lows against the dollar as investors continue to keep cautious after the conclusion of the agreement on third bailout for Greece last week.

During late Asian trade, the pair EUR/USD reached 1.0820, the lowest level since May 17, and subsequently consolidated at 1.0838.

From Monday, Greek banks must resume work after a forced three-week suspension, but the restriction on withdrawals remains in force. On Saturday, the Greek government has ordered to save the daily limit for withdrawals at € 60 and set a weekly limit of € 420.

The decree came the same day when the new coalition government was sworn after reshuffling the cabinet. Five opponents of the agreement with the creditors from the SYRIZA party, including the leader of the left wing of the party, had left their posts.

On Friday, German lawmakers voted in favor of opening the discussions on the third package for Greece and the European Union approved a bridge loan in the amount of € 7.16 billion to help Greece make payments on debt to the European Central Bank on Monday.

On Wednesday, the Greek Parliament has to continue to vote for the austerity measures.

Meanwhile, demand for the dollar was supported after the release of upbeat data on Friday, which have contributed to expectations of a rate hike in the US in the near future.

Data on Friday showed that consumer price index (CPI) in the United States rose 0.3% in June, while the core consumer price index (CPI) in the US rose last month by 0.1% in annual terms.

A separate report showed that housing starts in the US jumped in June by 9.8% to 1174000 units compared to expectations of an increase by 6.2%.

The number of building permits issued in the US rose last month by 7.4% to 1343000 units, while expected to decline by 11.8%.
