The French stock market was closed by growth, CAC 40 added 0.17%

French stock market closed trading on Thursday with growth due to consolidation of tourism and recreation, counseling services, and consumer services sectors.

At the close of the Paris stock exchange, CAC 40 rose 0.17%, and SBF 120 index rose 0.29%.

The leaders of growth among the components of CAC 40 index were the shares of ArcelorMittal SA (AS: ISPA), which rose by 0.12 p. (2.45%), closing at 4.94. Quotes of Veolia Environnement VE SA (PA: VIE) increased by 0.370 p. (1.69%), ending trading at 22.265. Shares of Unibail Rodamco SE (AS: UNBP) rose in price by 3.70 p. (1.49%), closing at 251.30.

Leaders of falling were shares of Safran SA (PA: SAF), the price of which fell 0.70 p. (1.04%), ending the session at around 66.87. Shares of Carrefour SA (PA: CARR) rose 0.29 p. (0.98%) to close at 29.23 and Sanofi SA (PA: SASY) shares fell in price by 0.66 p. (0.79 %), and finished trading at around 82.42.

The leaders of growth among SBF 120 index components on the basis of today's trading were the shares of Sodexo SA (PA: EXHO), which rose 9.85% to reach 88.20, shares of Edenred (PA: EDEN), which gained 5.67% to close at 18.47, and shares of Casino Guichard Perrachon SA (PA: CASP), which rose 3.85%, ending the session at around 55.03.

Leaders of falling were shares of Korian Medica SA (PA: KORI), which fell in price by 8.29%, closing at 32.925. Shares of Genfit SA (PA: GNFT) lost 2.35% and ended the session at 37.990. Quotes of Bollore SA (PA: BOLL) fell in price by 2.21% to reach 4.29.

At the Paris stock exchange, the number of advancing securities (414) exceeded the number closed in red (299), and rates of 64 shares remained virtually unchanged.

The CAC 40 VIX Volatility Index, which is based on indicators of options trading on CAC 40, fell 3.88% to reach 22.62.

Gold futures for December delivery added 1.11%, or 11.90, reaching $ 1080.60 for an ounce. As for other commodities, the price of WTI crude oil for January delivery fell 0.81%, or 0.34, to $ 41.61 a barrel. Brent futures for January delivery fell 0.03%, or 0.02, to $ 44.13 a barrel.

Meanwhile EUR/USD pair rose 0.70% to 1.0735 and EUR/GBP rose 0.23%, reaching 0.7015.

USD Index fell 0.65% to 99.02.
