The German stock market closed Thursday trading with a growth due to the strengthening of utilities, food and beverage and retail sectors.
At the close of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, DAX 30 rose 0.66%, MDAX index rose 0.51%, and TecDAX index rose 0.35%.
The leaders of growth among DAX 30 index components were the shares of ThyssenKrupp AG (DE: TKAG), which rose 0.690 p. (3.61%), closing at 19.815. The quotes of RWE AG (DE: RWEG) increased by 0.355 p. (3.04%), ending trading at 12.025. The shares of Continental AG (DE: CONG) rose 4.700 p. (2.52%) to 191.250.
Leaders of falling were shares of Deutsche Telekom AG (DE: DTEGn), the price of which fell 0.465 p. (2.83%), to 15.965. Shares of BAYER AG (DE: BAYGN) fell 1.500 p. (1.72%) to close at 85.650 and Deutsche Borse AG (DE: DB1Gn) decreased in price by 0.230 p. (0.29%) to the level of 79.070.
The leaders of growth among MDAX index components were shares of Salzgitter (DE: SZGG), which rose 3.76% to reach 27.455, TAG Immobilien AG (DE: TEGG), which gained 2.14% to close at 12.195, as well as shares of Zalando SE (DE: ZALG), which rose 2.11%, ending the session at around 27.15.
The worst performers were the shares of Aareal Bank (DE: ARLG), which fell in price by 3.20%, closing at 33.300. Shares of the company Kuka (DE: KU2G) lost 1.55% and finished the session at 107.850, while the quotes of Hugo Boss AG (DE: BOSSn) decreased in price by 1.12% to reach 55.560.
The leaders of growth among the TecDAX index components were the shares of CompuGroup Medical AG (DE: COPMa), which rose 3.60% to reach 39.410, Carl Zeiss Medi (DE: AFXG), which gained 2.13% to close at the level of 34.315, as well as shares of Wirecard AG (DE: WDIG), which rose 1.76%, ending the session at around 40.500.
Leaders of falling were shares of Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG (DE: PV), which fell in price by 1.10%, to 84.830. The shares of GFT Technologies AG (DE: GFTG) lost 1.10% to 21.120 and the quotes of United Internet AG (DE: UTDI) decreased in price by 0.99% to reach 42.485.
On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange the number of advancing securities (527) exceeded the number closed
Meanwhile, EUR/USD pair rose 0.21% to 1.1177, and EUR/GBP rose 0.43%, reaching 0.7624.
The USD index fell 0.16% to 95.25.
