Germany's stock market closed Tuesday trade falling on negative dynamics from pharmaceutical, media and telecommunications sectors.
At the close of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, DAX 30 fell 0.35%, the MDAX fell 0.37%, and TecDAX index fell 0.11%.
The leaders of growth among the components of DAX 30 at the end of Tuesday’s trading were the shares of RWE AG (XETRA: RWEG), which went up by 0.536 p. (5.82%) and closed at around 9740. Quotes of Deutsche Post AG (XETRA: DPWGn) rose 0.720 p. (3.04%), ending the trade at 24.405. Shares of E.ON AG (XETRA: EONGn) rose 0.184 p. (2.58%), to 7.316.
Leaders of falling were shares of Fresenius SE Vz (XETRA: FREG), the price of which has fallen by 3460 p. (5.50%), ending the session at around 59500. Shares of Volkswagen AG Vz (XETRA: VOWG_p) fell to 3-year low by 4100 p. (4.13%) to close at 95200 and Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co (XETRA: FMEG) decreased in price by 1890 n. (2.67%) and finished trading at around 68800.
The leaders of growth among the components of MDAX index were the shares of LEG Immobilien AG (XETRA: LEGn), which rose 1.91% to reach 74200, Wacker Chemie (XETRA: WCHG), which gained 1.84% to close at the level of 67000, as well as the shares of GEA Group AG (XETRA: G1AG), which rose 1.61%, ending the session at around 32145.
Leaders of falling among MDAX were shares of Axel Springer SE (XETRA: SPRGn), which fell in price by 4.27%, closing at 50190. Shares of the company Kabel Deutschland Holding AG (XETRA: KD8Gn) lost 2.93% and ended the session at 116050, while NORMA Group AG (XETRA: NOEJ) quotes fell 2.89% to reach 42980.
The leaders of growth among the components of TecDAX index at the end of Tuesday trading were the shares of SMA Solar Technology AG (XETRA: S92G), which went up by 23.92% to reach 36010, STRATEC Biomedical AG (XETRA: SBSG), which gained 5.73% to close at 50920 and shares of Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG (XETRA: PV), which rose 3.21%, ending the session at around 103000.
Leaders of falling were shares of BB Biotech AG (XETRA: BIONn), which fell in price by 3.89%, closing at 232000. Shares of Kontron company (XETRA: KBCG) lost 3.31% and ended the day at 2457. QSC AG (XETRA: QSCG) quotes fell 2.15% to reach 1458.
On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, the number of declining securities (435) exceeded the number of those closed in positive territory (251), and quotes of 32 shares remained virtually unchanged.
The DAX Volatility, which is based on indicators of options traded on the DAX 30, has not changed 0.00% to remain at 28.19.
Meanwhile EUR/USD rose 0.01% to 1.1245 and EUR/GBP rose 0.11%, reaching 0.7420. Also, USD Index fell 0.07% to 96.07.
