At the close of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, DAX 30 rose 0.16%, MDAX rose 0.19%, and TecDAX rose 0.12%.
The leaders of growth among the components of DAX 30 were the shares of Continental AG (DE: CONG), which rose 3.700 p. (1.74%) and closed at around 215.950. Quotes of adidas AG (DE: ADSGN) increased by 1.450 p. (1.67%), ending the trade at 88.200. Shares of Daimler AG (DE: DAIGn) rose 1.080 p. (1.38%), closing at 79.080.
Leaders of falling were shares of RWE AG (DE: RWEG), the price of which fell 0.490 p. (3.81%), ending the session at around 12.375. Shares of E.ON AG (DE: EONGn) fell 0.286 p. (3.02%) to close at 9.174, and Deutsche Bank AG (DE: DBKGn) decreased in price by 0.425 p. (1.68%) and finished trading at around 24.910.
The leaders of growth among the components of MDAX index at the end of today's trading were the shares of Symrise AG (DE: SY1G), which rose 2.98% to reach 61.860, Fraport (DE: FRAG), which gained 1.72%, to close at 58.700, as well as shares of Axel Springer SE (DE: SPRGn), which rose 1.69%, ending the session at around 51.720.
Leaders of falling were shares of Leoni AG (DE: LEOGn), which fell in price by 5.14%, closing at 34.700. Shares of Aareal Bank (DE: ARLG) lost 3.72% and ended the session at 33.385. Duerr (DE: DUEG) quotes fell in price by 3.54% to reach 78.170.
The leaders of growth among the components TecDAX index, at the end of today's trading, were the shares of Aixtron SE (DE: AIXGn), which rose 2.78% to reach 6.542, Drillisch (DE: DRIG), which gained 2.44%, to close at 46.195, as well as shares of SMA Solar Technology AG (DE: S92G), which rose 2.27%, ending the session at around 43.865.
Leaders of falling were shares of Kontron (DE: KBCG), which fell in price by 6.28%, closing at 3.509. Shares of the company QSC AG (DE: QSCG) lost 5.25% and ended the day at 1.623. Quotes of LPKF Laser & Electronics AG (DE: LPKG) fell in price by 4.71% to reach 8.104.
On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, the number of declining securities (366) exceeded the number closed in positive area (332), and quotes of 25 shares remained virtually unchanged.
The Volatility Index - DAX Volatility, which is based on indicators of option trading on the DAX 30, rose 0.19% to reach 21.08.
Meanwhile Forex pair EUR/USD fell 0.56% to 1.0691 and EUR/GBP fell 0.50%, reaching 0.7078.
