The German Stock Market finished Monday trading lower amid negative dynamics on the part of the insurance, media and pharmaceutical sectors.
At the close of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, DAX 30 fell 2.19%, MDAX index dropped by 1.00%, and TecDAX index fell 1.20%.
The leaders of growth among DAX 30 index components were the shares of ThyssenKrupp AG (DE: TKAG), which rose 0.055 p. (0.26%), closing at 21.080. The quotes of Vonovia SE (DE: VNAn) rose 0.23 p. (0.67%), ending the session at 34.12. Shares of Beiersdorf AG (DE: BEIG) rose 0.650 p (0.77%) to 83.600.
Leaders of falling were shares of Deutsche Bank AG (DE: DBKGn), the price of which dropped by 0.860 p (7.54%), to 10.550, Pro Sieben (DE: PSMGn), which fell 1.600 p (4.15%) to close at 36.925, and Commerzbank AG (DE: CBKG), which decreased in price by 0.257 p (4.08%) to 6.046.
The leaders of growth among the MDAX index were shares of Lanxess (DE: LXSG), which rose 8.14% to reach 52.660, Stroeer SE (DE: SAXG), which gained 3.55%, to close at 39.040, and shares Suedzucker AG (DE: SZUG), which rose 1.75%, ending the session at around 24.140.
Leaders of falling were shares of K + S AG NA O.N. (DE: SDFGn), which fell in price by 6.86%, closing at 16.700, Duerr AG (DE: DUEG) lost 2.90% and finished the session at the level of 76.060, and quotes of CTS Eventim AG (DE: EVDG) decreased in price by 2.57% to reach 30.855.
The leaders of growth among the TecDAX index components were the shares of Siltronic AG (DE: WAFGn), which rose 5.36% to reach 24.550, Nemetschek AG (DE: NEKG), which gained 0.39% to close at 54.160, and the shares of Jenoptik AG (DE: JENG), which rose 0.25%, to 15.995.
The worst performers were the shares of Dialog Semiconductor (DE: DLGS), which fell in price by 3.03%, closing at 33.715. Shares of Telefonica Deutschland Holding AG (DE: O2Dn) lost 2.53% and finished the session at 3.692. Quotes of GFT Technologies AG (DE: GFTG) decreased in price by 2.35% to reach 18.320.
On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, the number of cheapened securities (701) exceeded the number closed in positive territory (178) and the quotes of 29 shares remained virtually unchanged.
Meanwhile, EUR/USD pair rose 0.31% to 1.1262, and EUR/GBP rose 0.15%, reaching 0.8680.
The USD index dropped by 0.30% to 95.12.
