The Japanese stock market rose on Friday, Nikkei 225 gained 0.78%

Japan's stock market closed Friday trading with growth due to consolidation of mineral production, electricity and retail trade sectors.

At the close of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Nikkei 225 rose 0.78%, reaching a monthly high.

The leaders of growth among the components of the Nikkei 225 index at the end of Friday trading were the shares of Sumitomo Osaka Cement Co., Ltd. (T: 5232), which went up by 41.0 p. (8.69%), closing at 513.0. Quotes of Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd. (T: 1925) rose 242.0 p. (8.09%), ending the trading day at 3232.0. Shares of Terumo Corp. (T: 4543) rose 190.0 p. (5.19%), closing at 3850.0.

Leaders of falling were shares of Mitsumi Electric Co., Ltd. (T: 6767), the price of which fell 115.0 p. (15.46%), ending the session at around 629.0. Shares of SUMCO Corp. (T: 3436) rose 182.0 p. (14.60%), closing at 1065.0, and Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. (T: 6703) shares fell in price by 13.0 p. (7.60%) and closed trading at around 158.0.

On the Tokyo Stock Exchange, the number of advancing securities (1315) exceeded the number closed in red (558).

Shares of Mitsumi Electric Co., Ltd. (T: 6767) fell to a 52-week low, down 15.46%, or 115.0 p., and finished trading at the level of 629.0. Shares of Terumo Corp. (T: 4543) rose to a 3-year high, rising 5.19% to 3850.0. Shares of Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. (T: 6703) fell to a 52-week low, having fallen in price on 7.60%, to 158.0.

The Nikkei Volatility index, which is based on indicators of Nikkei 225 trading options, fell 2.24%, to 22.26, reaching a new monthly minimum.

Futures of WTI crude oil for December delivery added 0.70%, or 0.32, reaching $ 45.52 per barrel. As for other commodities, the price of Brent crude oil for December delivery rose 0.33%, or 0.16, to $ 48.27 for a barrel. Gold futures for December delivery rose 0.43%, or 4.70, to $ 1108.90 an ounce.

Meanwhile the Forex USD/JPY pair rose 0.12% to 121.90, and the rate of EUR/JPY fell 0.03%, reaching 132.48.

The USD Index rose 0.12% to 98.21.
