The US dollar evolution during Thursday’s Asian session

On Thursday, euro rose against the dollar. EUR/USD was traded at 1.1277, gaining 0.62%.

The support is now located at the level of 1.1120, Monday's low, and resistance is likely to reach the level of 1.1295 - maximum of today's trading.

Meanwhile, the euro went up against the British pound and the Japanese yen. The pair EUR/GBP gaining 0.09%, reached the level of 0.7300, and the EUR/JPY, rising by 0.74%, reached 136.02.

The US Dollar went down against the British Pound. The pair GBP/USD dropped 0.03% to reach 1.5440 during the Asian session, but during the day, the fall was more obvious. On Thursday, the pound rose to two-week high against the dollar after the Bank of England kept its monetary policy unchanged and said that the recent turmoil in global markets related to the slowdown of the Chinese economy had no effect on the management's opinion that the time of rate hike is approaching.

Earlier, GBP/USD pair rose 0.55% to 1.5408, bouncing from 1.5389 before the announcement.

At the same time, the US dollar rose against the Japanese yen on Thursday. USD/JPY was traded at 120.64, gaining 0.01% during Asian session.

The most likely the support is now located at around 118.65, Monday's low, and resistance is possible to reach the level of 121.32, which is the maximum of today's trading.

The New Zealand Dollar went up against the US Dollar on Thursday. NZD/USD was traded at 0.6314, gaining 0.39%.

The support is probably located at the level of 0.6241, Monday's low, and resistance is likely to reach the level of 0.6436, which today highs.

Meanwhile, the New Zealand Dollar went up against the Australian Dollar and the Euro. The pair AUD/NZD lost 0.21%, reaching a level of 1.1211 and EUR/NZD dropped 0.29% to reach 1.7879.

The Australian dollar rose against the US dollar during Asian session. AUD/USD was traded at 0.7072, gaining 0.08%.

The support is now located at the level of 0.6893, Monday's low and resistance is likely to reach the level of 0.7104, which is the maximum of Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Australian dollar rose against the euro and the Japanese yen. The pair EUR/AUD lost 0.06%, reaching 1.5953 and AUD/JPY rose 0.22% to reach 85.42.
