The leaders of growth were the shares of Randgold Resources Ltd (L: RRS), which rose by 700.00 p. (13.21%), closing at 6000.00. Quotes of Fresnillo PLC (L: FRES) rose 61.50 p. (7.81%), ending trading at 849.50. Shares of Anglo American PLC (L: AAL) rose 12.75 h (3.51%), closing at 376.10.
Leaders of falling were shares of Hargreaves Lansdown PLC (L: HRGV), the price of which has fallen by 93.00 h (7.62%), ending the session at around 1127.00. Shares of Ashtead Group PLC (L: AHT) rose 68.00 p. (7.59%) to close at 828.00, while CRH PLC (L: CRH) decreased in price by 133.00 p. (7. 51%) and finished trading at around 1637.00.
On the London Stock Exchange the number of cheapened securities (1825) exceeded the number closed higher (339), and quotes of 404 shares remained virtually unchanged.

Gold futures for April delivery added 3.04%, or 35.20, reaching $ 1192.90 for an ounce. As for other commodities, the price of oil WTI for March delivery fell 2.49%, or 0.77, to $ 30.12 a barrel. Brent crude oil futures for April delivery fell 2.00%, or 0.68, to $ 33.38 a barrel.
Meanwhile GBP/USD fell 0.62% to 1.4412, and EUR/GBP rose 0.74%, reaching 0.7747.
USD index fell 0.10% to 96.89.
