The leaders of growth among the components of the Dow Jones index at the end of today's trading were shares of General Electric Company (N: GE), which rose 0.95 p. (3.39%) and closed at around 28.98. Quotes of Merck & Company Inc (N: MRK) rose 0.76 p. (1.50%), ending trading at 51.48. Shares of Nike Inc (N: NKE) rose 1.68 p. (1.30%), closing at 130.47.
Leaders of falling were shares of Caterpillar Inc (N: CAT), the price of which fell 1.15 p. (1.62%), ending the session at around 69.68. Shares of Wal-Mart Stores Inc (N: WMT) fell 0.44 p. (0.74%) to close at 58.89, and Apple Inc (O: AAPL) fell in price by 0.82 p. (0.73%) and closed trading at around 111.04.
The leaders of growth among the components of S&P 500 at the end of trading were the shares of Mattel Inc (O: MAT), which rose 6.04% to reach 23.89, Garmin Ltd (O: GRMN), which gained 5.61% to close at 34.09, and shares of Yum! Brands Inc (N: YUM), which rose 4.17%, ending the session at around 72.16.
Leaders of falling were shares of Quanta Services Inc (N: PWR), which fell in price by 28.50% to close at 18.74. Shares of the Kansas City Southern (N: KSU) lost 10.85% and closed the session at 87.37. Quotes of Genworth Financial Inc (N: GNW) fell in price by 7.83% to reach 5.06.
